Jahrgangsstufe 11: Virtuelles Projekt zur polnisch-deutschen Geschichte, z.B. Lokalgeschichte oder Kampagne #Stolen Memory / Grade 11: Virtual project on Polish-German History, e.g. local history or #StolenMemory
I am looking for a Polish group of Secondary education (Gymnasium), grade 11. My students are 16 – 18 years old. Our history course is bilingual (German-English). So the students can communicate in English, too. We would like to undertake a virtual project on Polish-German history. E.g.: The historical relationship between Poles and Germans in a Polish city (local history); or participation in the project #StolenMemory by Arolsen Archives (https://arolsen-archives.org/en/learn-participate/exhibitions-campaigns/stolenmemory/). The project shall take place in January/February/March 2021.
Friedrich-List-Schule is a school for Secondary Education with special focus on economics. Our history course matches the history course of a Gymnasium. The city of Kassel is right in the middle of Germany and has around 200,000 inhabitants. Since 1955 the Documenta, an international exhibition of modern and contemporary art, has been held regularly in Kassel (https://www.documenta.de/en/works_in_kassel).
