TRIYOU-Forum 2026
Das TRIYOU-Forum bringt Aktive der internationalen Jugendarbeit aus Deutschland, Polen und der Ukraine zusammen und bietet Raum für Erfahrungsaustausch, praxisorientierte Methoden und Inspiration für trilaterale Begegnungsprojekte. Die Veranstaltung wird vom Deutsch-Polnischen Jugendwerk (DPJW) im Rahmen des Likhtar-Netzwerks gemeinsam mit der Stiftung Kreisau für Europäische Verständigung, der Bildungsstätte Bredbeck und dem Stadtteilkulturzentrum „Bronowice” aus Lublin organisiert und durch das Auswärtige Amt finanziell unterstützt.

What is the TRIYOU Forum about?
The TRIYOU Forum is a space to connect, empower, and inspire educators engaged in international youth work. Focusing on trilateral exchange between Poland, Germany, and Ukraine, the event offers practice-oriented methods, tools, and sharing experiences. In times marked by the ongoing war against Ukraine and multiple crises we aim to strengthen international youth work and partnerships by addressing key questions:
- How can we communicate attentively in intercultural project teams and build sustainable partnerships?
- What gives us hope and the feeling of agency?
- How can we apply trauma-sensitive approaches in wartime education?
We look forward to having stimulating conversations, hearing new perspectives, and learning alongside you.
Who can participate?
We welcome youth work professionals of diverse backgrounds, including educators, teachers, and representatives of organisations engaged in trilateral youth exchange between Ukraine, Poland, and Germany. We will invite a total of 45 participants.
The programme will be held in English. Still, although English is our working language, there is no need to speak it perfectly. What matters most is that we understand each other, share our perspectives, and engage in meaningful communication in a supportive atmosphere. We encourage you to sign up!

- Interactive workshops,
- Practice-based tools and methods for organising impactful exchange projects,
- Insights on youth-related issues in the trilateral context,
- Networking opportunities with educators from Ukraine, Poland, and Germany to share experiences and explore new collaborations,
- Update on funding opportunities for trilateral projects in times of limited resources.

Costs:
The fee covers accommodation, meals, and the full programme. It varies depending on your country of residence.
From Poland: PLN 140
From Ukraine: PLN 50
From Germany: EUR 70
The standard includes accommodation in double rooms. If you prefer a single room, an additional fee applies (+ EUR 60 or PLN 120 for the whole stay). Please note that the number of single rooms is limited.
If the participation fee presents a barrier for you or your organisation, please reach out to us – we will be happy to find a solution.
Travel costs reimbursement:
For participants from Poland and Germany: Travel costs will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis up to EUR 0,15 or PLN 0,60 per kilometer one way (see German-Polish Youth Office/GPYO travel cost calculator).
For participants from Ukraine: Travel expenses will be reimbursed 100% up to a maximum of PLN 800.
